"Silent Observers" is slated for publication in Inhuman: Flash Fiction Challenge #4 anthology (Absolute XPress / July 2010).
A group of telepathic xenobiologist students pretends to be deaf and mute when soliciting for donations, leaving behind sensor pens that collects the biological data of humans eating at a shopping mall food court. When an elderly woman dies from a heart attack while under observation, one of the students intervenes and provokes a moral debate about interfering with a primitive alien culture.
