Silent Observers

When a deaf person leaves behind a pen and card requesting a donation at a food court table, money wasn't the only thing being collected. A team of xenobiologist students from another planet are monitoring the eating habits of humans in their most natural environment at the shopping mall food court. One of the students telepathically intervenes when a test subject has a heart attack, provoking a vigorous debate among her peers on being objective observers in the field.
